Mother's Day, a new chance to make cards
This card sticks pretty much to that principle and with the exception of a bit of white it really is pink through and through.

I made this card on a pink tall card.
The Mother's Day message was printed on the computer and I used pink ink. Well why not? Stick it to the card as shown.
I tied a knot in a piece of pink polka dot ribbon and wrapped it around a strip of pink pearlescent card. I stuck it down with double sided tape. I used the double sided to stick the pink card to the printed card.
Make a flower motif out of one pink and one white flower. Use a pen or pencil to curl the petals so that they look more 3D. Thread a piece of 3mm ribbon through a pink button and tie. Stick the button to the centre of the flower. Stick the flower to the card.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for the comment. I used a die cut from Accucut. I will put them on my web site when I have time to cut more. The flower was two sets of exactly the same flowers, but moved slightly when put together.
Hi I love your blog... your have some lovely ideas and the mothers day card is gorgeous. Simple but stunning.
