Love is In the Air

Well, now that Christmas is over we card makers need some other excuse to keep on creating cards and what better than Valentine's day to bring a bit of romance to all of us. Even if we don't have a Valentine it's always good to make them with children so that they can send them. Handmade ones look so good and we get lots of pleasure from making them. At least I do.

Valentine Card


© 1 A4 card either ready made or cut and scored and folded in half.
© 1 huggy bear die cut. http://www.craftfairy.co.uk/product.asp?pid=646 only 40p each.
© 1 heart
© 1 pink and cream tag combination.

© Chalks to colour the bear

© 1 ready tied bow. http://www.craftfairy.co.uk/product.asp?pid=596


© Shade in the bear die cut as shown.
© Replace the heart with a pink one or one in a colour that you prefer.
© Attach one end of the string to the back of the card with a sticky label.
© Attach the bear to the front of the base card and glue into place
© Fold the bear together and glue into place unless you want to leave it open. Shade the heart with the chalks.
© Make up the tag as shown and either use a peeloff greeting or write your own.
© Stick a piece of cream card to the bottom of the card and glue the tag on to this.
