Second Attempt

There may be a few day's gap in my entry but that is not for want of trying. The other evening I spent a good hour writing my entry only to see it disappear in a second when I pressed the wrong button. I am sure that many of you will sympathise. However, I will not give up and this time I have written everything out in Word and I have pasted it in. that way I will not get caught out! Ha!

Try this card and see if you like it.

Santa Card

You will need:
1 A4 card scored and folded to make a card 21cmx 14.9cm
1 22cm strip of Christmas ribbon
Die cut santa heads 1 flesh. 1 red and 2 white
Chalks
1 sheet of gold paper.
Pre-printed greetings
Gold card

To Make the Santa Card
Stick gold paper to approximately 1/3 of the base card with a dry glue. If you use a wet one the paper will buckle. I know, it has happened to me. Don’t be too precious about exact thirds.
use double sided tape to stick a piece of decorative ribbon to the join between the gold paper and the base card.
Cut out the Santa head and layer it up to make the Santa head as shown. Use the chalk to give Santa rosy cheeks. Stick to the card at an angle. I used 3D foam pads to give the card some dimension.
Stick a message to a piece of gold card and cut around it to give a narrow border. Stick to the card using 3D foam.

Voila! It’s finished.

Continuing with my shameless, business plugs, you can get the supplies to make this card at my web site:
