Here we go
Welcome to the new Craft Fairy blog. I have decided to use a blog so that I can post more cards and projects for everyone to see. I have too many to keep for my monthly newsletter so I decided to post them here. I will also use this blog as a sort of diary for my business development. Hopefully it will be full of good news.
I really am interested in all sorts of crafts as well as cardmaking: flower arranging and watercolouring are but two of my interests, but I will not bore you with too much of that. I'll start with card making. here's the first card and set of instructions on offer. I hope that you like it, and if you do you can go to my site
www.craftfairy.co.uk
and hopefully buy the products.(shameful business tactick, but necessary).

You Will Need
1 A5 hammer card
1 length of pink to white ombre ribbon 14cm long
1 piece of white card 10.3cm x 3cm
1 set of flower punch outs in pinks and greens
1 piece of green glitter card
2 small tags, 1 pink, 1 white,
1 message peeloff
1 small length of 3mm pink satin ribbon
Double side sticky tape
3d foam pads
Green gel pen
To Make the Card
1. Fold the A5 sheet of card to make the base card. It should measure 10.5 cm x 14.8cm when folded, but there’s no need to be too precise.
2. Fold the ombre ribbon over the ends of the piece of spare white card and tape it in place on the back with some sticky tape.
3. Use the double sided sticky tape to stick the ribbon card to the base of the card as shown in the example.
4. Cut a piece of glitter card 3cm x 4cm. This is the pot. Position it on the card as shown and fix in place with 3d foam pads.
5. Stick the two larger border flowers on the card as shown You will have to over lap them slightly. Stick the daisy shapes in the centre as shown.
6. Now use 3d foam pads to stick the medium pink flowers to the card as shown.
7. Use tiny pieces of foam pads to stick the circles to the centres of the flowers.
8. Draw some stems and leaves on the card between the pot and the flower heads.
9. Overlap two tags and stick together. Thread the pink ribbon through them and loop to secure. Stick a message on the tag and stick to the card with foam pads.
That's all for today. I hope that you like it and that you will look in on the site.
