How to Take Three Hours to Make a Ten Minute Card

I put the following instructions on the forum the other day and they struck a chord with lots of the lovely crafters there, so I thought that I would pop them on the blog as well. See if you can recognise yourself.

Now it doesen’t really take three hours to make the actual card but first of all you have to:

1. Find the right paper. this is usually the last one that you pick out of the box.
2. Locate the stamp that you saw yesterday and could swear was on your craft table but turns up eventually under your daughter’s bed.
3. Unearth the Stazon and make sure that it’s still working as the lid looks suspiciously off.
4. Spend half an hour choosing the right colours to compliment the paper that you chose as it would be easy to match up with what you had.
5. Discover that your cutter is blunt and search for that replacement blade that you bought a couple of weeks ago and now is nowhere to be seen.
6. Ditto your scissors for cutting ribbon.
Now take an deep breath and make the card in ten minutes.

Does anyone know the feeling?
I didn’t count the time that it took me to photograph the card and put it on the blog. After I had found the camera, of course.
Happy crafting,
Yvonne

Describes me to a T. I am so unorganized when crafting. I get an idea and I want to get it done NOW before it goes out of my head.
