Christmas Tree Tri-Fold Card

Here we are with the first of the Christmas cards. I've taken my time with this one and the step by step instructions are below the card.
First of all take a piece of white hammer card, 140mm x 280mm. Score and fold to make a card 140mm x 140mm. You need the hammer finish to be on the inside of the card which is the opposite of the usual way.

With a fine pencil mark the 7cm point at the top and bottom of the card and draw a line between them as seen in the photo.

Now place your die cut, the tree in this case, on the line as shown. It looks better if it is closer to the top than the middle. Draw around the left hand side of the tree as you are looking at it on the page.Remove the die cut and using a craft knife cut along the pencil line. Now score the lines above and below the tree and fold back. Your hammer finish will now be on the right side of the card.

Your tree shape will now pop out.

Cover the pop out shape with the tree die cut and then proceed to decorate as you wish.

I used white glitter card, silver miri card and silver ribbon.

What a great card! so simple yet really effective.
P.S Did you announce the winner for your sporting fun competition? I had a look but couldn't find it.

Hi Louly,

Unfortunately there were too few entries to the competition for it to run properly. There really need to be at least 10 entries.

I need to sort out the next competition but I have been so busy lately that I've not had time. Keep on looking though it should be on in the next few days.
