A Simple Card

I decided that I wanted to do some simple stamping with the new Savvy Stamps. So I got the pretty 3 stem outline flower as a basis for my design.I had some Twinkling H2O's to add some colour and some Stazon to stamp the image.

I started by stamping the image in stone grey Stazon. I don't like the image to be too dark and black is just too harsh. I then coloured the flowers red and tinted the leaves green. I smeared a little green and red on the base of the flower to ground it. I mounted the image onto a red which closely resembled the red of the flower and stuck it to the base card. I had previously stuck some 7mm green gingham to the base card. I used double sided tape as it is the easiest way to keep ribbon on the card.

Then I added a saying to the bottom of the card. I stamped this with the tiny saying 'it's the little things that matter most'.

I finished off with a green gingham bow to match the ribbon.

I can't wait to make the next card and if I was not so busy with the preparation for the next show at Malvern I would be making far more cards.

The Stamps have arrived.

I've gone from not selling rubber stamps to having so many that it will take me a fortnight to list them.
I couldn't resist making a card though and, I've managed to make one using the new triangle fold card, the paper from the 'Take out the Stash' box, ribbon and a rubber stamp. So I think that I've combined all of the things that I like.
To make the card I used

A piece of pink card 12" x 4".

Paper from the 'Take out the Stash' Box

Pink card

Brown card

Brilliance pigment ink pad

Clear embossing powder

Make the card following the instructions on the earlier entry, but use the materials listed above.

Stamp the English daisy row using the ink pad and emboss with the clear embossing powder.

I Can't Wait

I can't wait for the delivery service to arrive today as I have ordered a huge consignment of Savvy Stamps and Mobe Stamps.

They have been supplied by Scrapgenie and I am going to be able to offer them at big discounts. Stamps that have a recommended retail value of £6.11 will be available for £5.00. That's about the scale of the discounts but if anyone want s a few stamps then I will discount even more.

My only problem whit this delivery is that I have ordered so many that I will take ages to get them on the site. If you know that you want a particular design then e-mail me to check availability. If I have it I'll let you know.

Can I divert from my 'Take Out the Stash' to use rubber stamps? Of course I can. Although I am working on a combined Stash and Stamp card at the moment.

At Last Some Inspiration

I am so excited that I had to add this card straight away. I am supposed to be helping my husband in the garden but who can resist showing off a new card?
This is it, and it's a pink fest again, but I love it. Sorry but I get over excited when I make something that I love. This card is great as it uses just about everything that I like.
Hot Pink Organza Ribbon I do think that it looks more coral than hot pink but that is what the manufacturer calls it.
12 X 12 pink Bazzil card.
To make this card I followed the instructions on the Split Cost Stamper's tutorial page. It's easier to send you there than photograph the whole thing myself.
Basically you follow the instructions to make the card but you use the products listed above if you want the same effect.
The only thing that I did which was different was I made the card slightly biggger. If you make the card following their measurements you will get a very small card. Mine is 10cm x 10cm.
Happy crafting. I hope that you like this as much as I do.
